Here are the draft storyboard that we had made...

Assignment 2 (group) Vector in the making

Before we start the animation, we need to create some 

typography and vector files using adobe illustrator.

These area part of the elements we need to execute into our flash 

alongside with the typo.The pic above is the 3 races in our country.

There is a short verse of rapping in the song, and it's in few different 

kind of language: Malay, Mandarin, Tamil and English.

The only challenge that we face is when we're making the typo for the

Tamil rap, we couldn't copy and paste in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

So we just find the lyrics from the internet and printscreen it,

and then we use live trace tool in AI to trace out the typo.

This is all the artwork and typography we created and they're ready 

to be imported into Adobe Flash to start our video making.

Editing songs

We have to edit the song to make it a bit shorter because the song is over our limit time.

We plan to cut away some extra chorus. We use Adobe Soundbooth to do the editing progress. This great job was done by one of our group member - Chin Zhe Yuan. :)

Import vector file or jpg file.

1st, I used 3D rotation tool (W) to make the wording have some 3D feel. 

All the typography words I use create motion tween. Select the word > right click > create motion tween

After that, select the frame you wanted the motion to end it and press shift + drag to the place you wanted it to place.

Vine

1st, import vector file from illustrator.
File > import > import to stage > choose the vector file you wanted then import.

After that name the layer as masks.
Create another new layer and drag the masks layer on the new layer.
Break apart the vector file you had import.
Select the vector file, go modify > break apart( ctrl + B).
Break apart the vector file until you see some dots on the vector file. This means it can be edited in adobe flash.
Lock the layer masks after you had break apart it. REMEMBER to make the layer as the following picture.

After that, colour bit by bit. While you colour a part, remember to press f6 to create another part.

After coloured, lock layer 2 and you will see just like the following picture.

I import the flower that i trace into flash. I plan to make the flower growing.

After import the flower. Create Motion Tween by right click it.

At the frame you wanted to stop drag the flower and make it big so it will looks like growing.

The flower will looks like growing :)

1 Malaysia Logo

1st, I import the 1 malaysia logo into the flash.

I make it the logo into symbol so that I could change the alpha.

Then, I create Create Motion Tween by right click it. 

I changed the alpha from 100% to 0% at the starting and choose the frame that I wanted to stop and out 100% so that it will looks appear in slow motion.

Human

This is the most interesting part and most difficult part.
I used bone tool to make the human's hand shake.
I divide the human into 3 parts. Body, right hand and left hand.
I plan to make the hand looks like waving so I change the right hand and left hand's picture into symbol.

I click on the middle and drag the bone tool to the area that i wanted.

I click the frame that I wanted to stop and drag the hand, it is almost same as create motion tween. 

Then, finally then hand can move...

Building part

1st, I used my previous's vector file that I had draw to make it as Typography.

I type words around them such as Malaysia, I love Malaysia, 1 Malaysia and so on with different types of font( 2 types) and size.

After type, go to layer type > Create Clipping Mask to apply the wording on the picture.

After I had done it, I convert into smart object for all the layer (make it into one layer) so that I could easily shift it into other places. Right click and you will see convert smart object. Remember to highlight all the layer you wanted to convert it into a layer.

Words

I type "UNITED" using type tool

After that, Ctrl T so that the word been clicked and we can resize it. To make it pattern, I use warp. Right click on the font after u type Ctrl T and you will see Warp

After that, I make it into typography form using the method above.
